Sakina Ibrahim is an NAACP Image Award-nominated Author, Social Entrepreneur, and Professor of Dance. She has been featured in publications such as Aspire TV and Black Enterprise Magazine and been a featured author at Essence Fest, Leimert book fair and more. Sakina merges her passions for the arts, education, and entrepreneurship under her consulting company S.E.W Solutions LLC where she works with celebrity clients, non-profit organizations, and universities to create empowering programming. Sakina is a passionate woman whose brand focus is creativity, education, and inspiration. Sakina holds a Masters of Fine Arts from the University of California, Irvine and a Bachelors of Fine Arts from the University of the Arts. Sakina's book Big Words to Little Me: Advice to the younger self-was self-published in 2016 preceding her most recent inspirational titles, A Hustler's Planner, and Daily Moves: Affirmations for the Millennials. In addition to speaking, facilitating her online course "Becoming Your Best Self, hosting Quest for Truth podcast, and working with youth, Sakina enjoys kickboxing, yoga, reading, and the beach.
