A Note on Health, Healing & Showing Up for One Another

Lately, I’ve been thinking a lot about what it really means to care for ourselves, not just in the ways that feel good, but in the ways that truly protect our future. One of those ways is taking the time to check for breast cancer and staying proactive about our health. Early detection saves lives. It’s simple, powerful, and often overlooked.

For many women, the journey doesn’t stop at diagnosis or treatment. Healing can be layered, physical, emotional, and deeply personal. That’s why I feel so honored to partner with Mission Plasticos, an organization dedicated to helping women access reconstructive surgery and restore a sense of wholeness, confidence, and dignity after breast cancer.

This work matters. It’s about more than procedures—it’s about helping women feel like themselves again.

On April 26, I’ll be participating in Cup Couture: An Art Bra Soirée, a beautiful and creative event that raises funds to support this life-changing work. I’m grateful to be part of something that centers healing, artistry, and community all in one space.

If this resonates with you, I’d love your support. You can contribute to my fundraising page here:https://pledgestar.com/t/BUmv/

Every pledge, no matter the amount, helps a woman access care that can transform her life.

Thank you for being part of a community that shows up with compassion, intention, and love.

With gratitude,

Sakina
