The Last Push of the Year

As we approach the end of the year and the rush of holiday planning, I find myself thinking about time and how we choose to spend it. Some people sit back and let time pass, letting life’s joys slip by. But this often leads to a place of regret, where we feel stuck and wish things had been different. Each day, we have a choice—to take charge of our lives and actively shape our circumstances. Even if we don’t accomplish everything we set out to do, we still get the privilege of trying something new and pushing our boundaries.

Life's challenges and joys have taught me to never settle and to always fight for what I truly want. Be non-negotiable about your health and well-being. Often, we prioritize others over ourselves, but there’s a high cost to not caring for our own needs. Crafting routines for self-care—like regular exercise, cooking at home instead of ordering out, and spending time with friends and loved ones—can help us release bottled-up energy and emotions.

A recent conversation with a friend reminded me that we have the choice to focus on the light in our lives rather than the shadows. This feels especially true as my friends and I celebrated Diwali, an Indian festival honoring the triumph of light over darkness. With so much tension in the world—tragic news stories on our timelines, political uncertainty with upcoming elections—it’s easy to feel overwhelmed. But we can choose to align ourselves with the light and walk in it. The shadows will always be there, but we decide where we place our attention.

Sending love, light, and encouragement to be limitless. Push the boundaries of the life you’ve been given and create something meaningful that serves humanity.
