I had the honor of being interviewed on the What’s Your Legacy podcast, and I have to say, I truly enjoyed the experience. It gave me the chance to pause and reflect on a decade of work, dedication, and sacrifice toward a life rooted in art, wellness, and forging my own path.
Being career-focused has not come without its sacrifices. But it has also been deeply enriching. There is something powerful about discovering your purpose and even more powerful when you begin to live in it.
Legacy is one of those concepts that really hits differently when we experience loss. Funerals have a way of putting things into perspective. They remind us of what’s truly important: family, community, and the ways we serve the world. When it’s all said and done, no one will remember what you wore, how much money you had, or what car you drove. What lives on is the impact, the memories, conversations, and experiences you shared.
So I ask you: What is your legacy?
What seeds are you planting in the lives of others that will blossom long after you're gone?
It’s hard to accept that death is part of life, but it’s real. We all have to live with the awareness that one day will be our last. My hope is that each of us can live with intention, grounded in purpose, rooted in love, and always giving something meaningful back to the world.
