Do you ever feel like you're constantly facing the same battles in life, even though you thought you had already overcome them? It's not uncommon to feel this way, especially when the issues we face seem to have roots that stretch back to our childhood or teenage years. However, these repetitive battles may actually be a sign that we are fighting a spiritual battle.
Just like an Achilles tendon, there are certain areas in our lives that are more sensitive and vulnerable than others, when touched it can take us down. When we face challenges in these areas, it can feel like our whole life is falling apart. That's why it's important to remember that these battles are not physical, but spiritual, and we need to fight them with spiritual weapons.
Prayer and the word of God are powerful tools that we can use to combat our struggles. Throughout my life, I have explored many different spiritual paths, but I have found that the word of God has never failed me. In times of hardship, turning to Psalms and Proverbs can bring peace, clarity, and comfort.
By pausing and identifying how our attacks come, we can learn to call them out, cast them out, and move forward towards our destiny with the confidence that we have already won the battle. Even if we are in a difficult season, we must remember that every day we are still here is another day that we have won.
So, if you're feeling overwhelmed by repetitive battles in your life, take it as a sign that you are a victorious warrior, fighting a spiritual battle. With prayer and the word of God, you can find the strength to keep fighting and come out on top. Never forget that every day is you are in the ring to fight and win.
"For you equipped me with strength for the battle; you made those who rise against me sink under me." Psalm 18:39
